Holiday treats and gifts galore will be available on Thursday, December 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in historic Franklin Village during Main Street Franklin’s Holiday Sip, Shop and Stoll event. The second annual holiday stroll will give visitors and residents alike the chance to experience historic Franklin, whose quaint stores are tucked into a holiday landscape unlike any other in southeast Michigan.
In addition to holiday gifts and specials, Sip, Shop and Stroll will feature delightfully delicious munchies and tasty spirits served up in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Century-old storefronts will be wrapped in holiday finery and Franklin’s main street will be lit with luminaries.
“We’re really excited about the upcoming holiday season,” shared Angela Hanke, Main Street Franklin promotions chair. “We want to not only focus on promoting our one-of-a-kind merchants and charming downtown to the greater Detroit area, but also to create an event that brings value to our current customers and village residents.”

Bead Works: Serving wine and treats, offering a gift of a wine glass charm set with every purchase, raffling items, and offering a gift of a $5 gift certificate with purchase of a $50 or more gift certificate.

Farmhouse Coffee & Ice Cream: Featuring holiday carolers at 6:00 they are officially known as the Axis Music Academy's Glee Club. It is a group of 8 children from 8-12 years old that will be singing holiday songs. We will also offer complimentary Baileys and Kalhua with a coffee or ice cream purchase. In addition, we will be offering an additional $5 on every $20 gift certificate purchase (5-8pm only).
Fritz & Friends: Hosting an open house and jewelry sale, from 2 to 8. Our students and teachers will be selling their jewelry and tasty cookies and wine will be served.
Franklin Village Boutiqe: Local artist, Becky Sheak, will be hand-painting and personalizing ornaments for Village Boutique customers. In addition, wine and treats will be provided for all.
Gorback Studios: Offering- 50% off Holiday Certificates for Family Sittings and Wall Portraits.
La Spezia: Serving authentic Bellini's and a variety of Bruschetta's. In addition, there will be a 10% discount on any purchases from 5 pm - 8 pm.
Savvy Chic: Featuring special guest, John Osler, a local artist known for his fine art paintings and portraits. John will create miniature portraits/sketches of customers visiting our shop during Sip, Shop and Stroll. In addition to winning Gold Medals in the prestigious Scarab Club shows, his works are featured in collection across America and overseas. Light refreshments featuring Hot Toddy's and seasonal treats will also be served.
Smile Builders: Offering free chair massages by Spa Mariana therapists starting at 2 pm, hot spiced wine, savory treats, and a drawing for great prizes
Yanke Designs: Tempinting you with Shrimp, Soup and SAVINGS! Enjoy shrimp (with Frank's special sauce!) Chicken chili and 10% off Yanke Designs and Dale Epker's Entire Inventory of finished Jewelry!!!
